I found no need for Xbox Live when I was using Xlink Kai. Fantastic app. A little peeved they still don't have DS tunneling.

what i have said from the new nano's initial release, was that it was supposed to be the new iPod Shuffle. The thing is, production/component costs probably were too high to justify it becoming the low pricepoint shuffle.

As far as a great resource for Mac OS X (Panther) you should check out David Pogue's "Mac OS X The Missing Manual (Panther Edition)". It will tell you eveything you'd ever want to know about Mac OS X, and then some. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a DL Expo show in NY. I'm sure his book will be a great help to you. yeah dont bake the thing in the sun but for a little while or if you take it in and out of the sun that will be fine.
as for if it will work or not i have no idea. all you can do is wait until its totally dry, id say at least a day or two. then try to use it. but dont try to use it before then.
if it still doesnt work you will have to have someone look at it and see whats wrong.

I would be interested in this. I've had friends tell me that it is difficult to return an engraved iPod. I wonder if it would be the same for the iPad?

is the break up in on your iPod or does it do the same thing in iTunes? if it plays the same in iTunes you can edit the song down (clip off the last second of silence that was imported) and they should play consecutivly. or does it only happen on the iPod?
