So am I the only one left with the original iPhone? Had it since Sep 2006. Was going to wait for the 5, but I'll just get a white 4 in a few weeks. I'm happy.

too bad not everyone can get the beta
I signed up for this the day that it was announced (quite a while back now), but no invite :( Perhaps I selected the wrong option (Developer) from the dropdown on the signup form.

Well I guess that it will come soon enough. Though from what I've seen it seems to be closer to VMWare Player than VMWare Workstation, which would be a little disappointing. It's the workstation features that are missing from Parallels, and why I've been so eagerly awaiting the arrival of VMWare's product.

I don't really think the kid is rolling with a credit card of his own at 11 years of age. So maybe the mother should think about setting up a iTunes account for her son with a apple gift card or pre-pay visa. That way he can't run wild like Hulkamania with her credit card.... I wish my parents would of let me have free access to there visa as a kid

Neither. Get a real chair: http://www.hermanmiller.com/Products/Aeron-Chairs

Really though, if you are looking for looks, get the Eames knock-off. If you want comfort and longevity, invest in a good chair.

I do not have $879 to spend on a chair and if I did I would not. It's a chair! :D

I think the mouse may be killed in '07 by multi-touch innovations.

USB3 is sucky as USB2, fast on sheet, slow in reality.

Thunderbolt is more like FireWire, fast as hell! You can target mode with thunderbolt, and future SSD external drives or raid will benefit a lot from Thunderbolt.

USB3 on Mac is useless, just need a Thunderbolt -> USB 3 adapter in case you need to plug an USB3 device and wanting native speed.

they probably had it in the labs, but the pricing finally came down this year. 3D is a dud and internet enabled TV's dropped in price by 50% in some cases since last summer

if apple doesn't get into this market then itunes is going to be dead in a few years along with other idevices

The next operating system version of Mac Os would be XI as in 11. That isn't very Apple like and could easily be changed to iX could it not?

I'm going for Lion being able to run iOS apps.... using a rosetta like Arm emulator connecting to a native Intel compiled IOS library/cocoaTouch layer.

    Oh... I was right!

49 for a mouse. Wonderful. If this was a brand new design, with new features, never been done before, give me 2.

Sadly, Apple aren't exactly leading the way with mice, so they shouldn't be able to charge these prices!

To add to my post-workout recovery drink:

    My post-workout recovery drink:
    http://www.jonnyrash.com/img/sandbox/organic-valley-chocolate-milk.jpg

After researching, I discovered that chocolate milk has the same carb to protein ratio that expensive recovery drink mixes have (such as the P90X Recovery Drink). So, instead of spending around $60/month, I've elected to go with the chocolate milk, and to add a few supplements that are important for muscle recovery (which are found in those expensive drinks). Any excuse to drink chocolate milk is a good one.

Sorry, I'm actually being sarcastic, but you will find a lot of users here who behave just as I have described. You'd think that they sat on the board of directors. I agree with you, competition is good and it is good to be open minded and not have blind loyalty to one company. But the majority here will disagree with that.

LOL pretty sad when I couldn't read that as sarcasm as it is not unheard of that people are like that on this board.
