There is no reason in the world for Apple NOT to introduce the new iPhone at WWDC...except for the possibility that they are disastrously behind in development. Which would be simply embarrassing.

Man, this is getting annoying. battery drain came with 4.3 and was somewhat improved after 4.3.1. Now its back with a vengence. What does it take for Apple to get on this?

What about a Magic Trackpad?
Trackpads and touch screens are quite different input devices. Touch screen input requires that you actually "touch" what you want to manipulate. With a trackpad, you don't have quite the precision to precisely put your finger on an object on screen, since the object is not displayed on the track pad.
It just doesn't translate that well. Trackpads still very much require cursors, which iOS's UI lacks.

Yes. But not so much about product updates. More about the history of the updates in the paste was what I was talking about.

When one is seen in this town (New York) with an iPhone they look at you like "oh, you're one of those snobs".

I too care way more about what a stranger who sees me using a phone might think than I do how it actually works. All these dime a dozen sheep buying iPhones because they're easier to use and more elegant than Android phones are total losers. Don't they know that being seen is the most important feature of a phone? High five, man.

Here in the Netherlands we have Sinterklaas, he comes to us first by steamship, and then on a white horse. It is that important that the TV shows him arriving direct, plus tens of thousands are on the quayside. I hope to be there this year in Harderwijk on the 13th November with my grand children.
