An "average" sustainable long distance pace (12km/h, about 8mph) will burn through about 1000 calories an hour. I suspect she's not running quite that much ;)
I seem to remember people out in the Arctic / Antartic tend to eat ~ 6000 calories a day, since so much is lost due to cold, etc. Maybe she lives in her fridge most of the day? (Which would explain the calorie intake too!) :)

Traditionally the Eskimo's ate 6000 calories a day... mostly animal fat. They needed that much to survive a hunter gatherer lifestyle in a very cold climate.

I'd kill if the next iPhone could do LTE. The Thunderbolt is great @ speeds, the battery problem is remedied by the extended battery. The bigger problem (for me) is the Android OS. After using Apple's OS, Android looks like a big freakin' mess.

I don't care much for a bluetoothed version of this P.O.S.
At the moment the Mighty mouse has heaps of potential to be a great mouse if only Apple fixes the current issues it encounters such as sometimes not being able to scroll downwards, erratically activating expose (side buttons) when I don't even have my fingers near there and other few quirks....
Now if its going to be bluethooth, it'll be harder to tell whether its the mouse or the bluetooth faulting.

Let's not go claim that one side is totally white and the other totally black. These are huge corporations we're talking about. They do things for their own profits.
And anyway, as has been shown, aside from the Vibrant and international i9000 models (those pictures everyone going "Samsung are copycats!" are trumpeting around), the Galaxy S line is quite different from the iPhone and while the icon grid looks the same, one is inside the App Drawer and the other on the home screen. The TouchWiz homescreen doesn't have the icon grid.
This case isn't so clear cut. And now adding the Samsung counter-suit, it's even less. To claim one side is wrong and the other right at this point is quite disingenuous.
Again, let the courts decide. Siding with one corporation or another should not be something we bother with as consumers.

Obviously taking everything out of context, when we are dealing with the bleeding obvious there is no reason not to suggest it. I watched the video before reading the comments, so your point has no substance.You must have seen a lot of people having fits to be able to make such a confident judgement. And the differences between iPad / iPod / iPhone are orders of magnitude less than the differences between the ultra-high and ultra-low ends of what is being counted as Android "phones".

The MBP's whine (arguably the biggest problem, barring heat) was caused by either: 1) the inverter for the LCD backlight, or 2) power regulation for the CPU, which (believe it or not) the G-series also required very similar parts. Neither of these components were designed or built by Intel. If you want to blame someone, blame Foxconn/Hon Hai/Asustek/whoever built the system. I'd probably put money on that company also having built PPC systems for Apple at some point.
The heat? Well, again, depending on who you believe regarding the cause, that's either dodgy thermal paste application (blame Asustek/whoever again), or... well, let's say that the Core line are rather toasty no matter who's using it.... but again, for the computing power, the Core is a great piece of work. Before the switch, there was zero chance of us having a laptop with this amount of computational power at *any* heat output.
Wonky 'eject' key on the MBP's? Asustek/whoever again.
The switch to Intel had zero bearing on quality control. QC's performed by the system builder.
Let's look back a bit through the mists of time...

So I can charge more money for 2 platforms! Thats why (I think) the SlingPlayer app will not be universal. If you want to get the iPhone and iPad app it will be $60 instead of $30

I used Pages to do a college term paper which was over 40 pages long. My lecturer commented it was the best presented he had seen for years.
Perhaps the issue people are having with Pages is that it looks too easy compared to Word and that confuses them. You really do need to use Pages as a Word replacement to appreciate how good is actually is.
