Hi
I have a Nikon D3100 with a lense 55-200 AF-S Nikkor. I spoke to somebody who recomended me to buy a Sigma lense x2, which can double the lense zooming capacity by two.
I would really appriciated if anybody could advice me on this option. (i.e.: Is it possible? , Will I be able to use the Auto-focus function? Will it effect the lense sensetivity to light? etc.)

If you use windows, and Sn0wBreeze 2.5 to jailbreak, you can in expert mode simply check use gestures, and build your *.ipsw. No need to mess with x-code....
It can also be enable, or disabled in settings...

yep we could only draw in one room for the patients.
They have cancelled all non-emergency surgries for the day. Which is a good thing because who knows if it goes out again. Alot of the surgeons are in a tizzy. Especially one of them that only does surgeries on wednesdays.

GOD!! I don't know if I can take it anymore!! I want it SOOOO BAD!! What I was really waiting on was the speed bump because:
A: I am going to be using a second 22in. cinema display, so the resolution on that will give me plenty of workspace, and i can use the PB screen for my tools and palettes... and
B: I already bought the BlueTooth adapter to use with my t68i.... so.....
I'm wondering, since i doubt they will be cramming the big-as-hell IBM power4 lite into the powerbook for awhile, meaning they will be continuing with the G4's in the PB line (or a more powerful Moto chip) do you guys think that I should get the PB now and hope for a processor upgrade from sonnet or someone in the future??
Thanks,
impatient and frustrated Technocoy:D

Exactly.
I remember running into his "posts" in almost every thread I clicked on that afternoon. It really ticked me off.You would have gone nuts when Sammy D was posting.
His name even gets bleeped out now. *****, *****, *****. See. ;)

If not watching stuff (e.g. using Plex) at the same time as using it as a desktop it should work, but I'd wait for the next Mac Mini refresh if I were you. Apart from the redesign, the Mac Mini 2010 update was pretty disappointing. In fact even the redesign was disappointing as it made it much harder to replace the stock hard drive (though replacing the RAM is much easier than it was before).
If the 13" MBP recent update going from Core 2 Duo to a Core i5 is anything to go by, the Mac Mini refresh hopefully within the next few months or so should bring a substantial CPU update giving a significant performance boost.

Hi,
For reference, the site I have made is www.systematic-uk.com
I am having a huge problem where I have deployed to a windows server and IE text is displaying irregular characters instead of spaces and punctuation. The about us link is
www.systematic-uk.com/premium.html is the worst example.
Apologies if this has been covered before but your help is very much appreciated.

When opening any High Profile HD h.264 video in the new Quicktime Player, opening the file results in very bad graphical issues. Opening the same file in any other video player (such as VLC or MPlayerX) results in no such issues. Here's a screenshot of the issue I'm having.
This is on a Base 15" 2011 MacBook Pro with no upgrades running the latest Mac OS X 10.7 developer preview.

yep yep had the exact same thing. I managed to sort of fix it by downloading and installing Windows vista service pack 1, and then Windows vista service pack 2. Now in order for me to only use headphones i need to disable speakers in the sound prefs, otherwise some sounds go through headphones (when connected) and others through speakers. SO i have sound now its just annoying to have to disable speaker and enable all the time!
hope i could help, also once you have done the above two things, download and install the latest driver, the one u in the link u posted!

I have never heard this brought up when a Nuclear reactor disaster happens, so I will ask it here. With the fear of radiation spreading due to a failed reactor, wouldn't animals spread the radiation? It's kind of hard to keep birds out of the area, especially near old disasters like 3 mile island and Chernobyl. Not to mention deer, foxes, game birds and other smaller animals like rodents and insects. Seems to me then these animals could come in contact with human populations or even be eaten by us and thus spreading the radiation to more populated areas.
Any thoughts?

Ok, this is going to sound really silly... but I was just reading about all the people in the iPad forum complaining about their pages in safari reloading. Of course this is due the 512mb of RAM and the way the OS is designed to free up any older space whenever it needs more space.
That got me thinking... I know that Lion is being designed to run more iOS-like, where the OS is in charge of handling RAM. Does this mean that with Lion is there the potential to have the same situation? Obviously Macs have more RAM so the chance of it happening is reduced.
Or along those lines, say I have itunes (or any app) open and "running". If I run enough RAM intensive apps over the next few days without again using iTunes, would Lion ever get to the point where the window would actually close and shut down the app? I know that if you don't have any windows open the app could shut down, but what about if you leave the window open?

I've just run your CV through my parser and it's extracted the raw text fine. It has broken up the text into individual words rather than flowed properly into whole sentences, this is common though with PDFs. Any device which interprets PDFs will always encounter this problem, some deal with it by intelligently reflowing the text after conversion.
It may be this which is causing some online parsers to reject it?
Can't see anything specifically wrong with the file, all the fonts are embedded properly.
